Pariah vs Mr. Creed and Anisa Knight

Fade from black into a close-up of a fire burning brightly in a large barrel in the dead end of an alley on a dark evening. The fire flickers sending both light and shadow dancing across the walls. Several shadowy figures sit huddled nearby keeping warm while two men stand directly behind. As the camera pans up and focuses in, it's clear that Pariah is here. Ishmael comes forward into the light.

Ishmael: It's been 10 years and still nothing but the names have changed. The names of those who sit in their mahogany offices fattening themselves while the lesser-thans fight for every little scrap that can be scavenged. Being passed over for opportunities to be taken seriously and lifted out of the gutters where they have been cast aside. The time has come where expecting things to change now ceases, and our obligation to fulfill what we began so long ago.

Lazarus approaches as the camera pans over.

Lazarus: We have been complacent for far too long. It's only fitting that this time we begin with The Empire. The name alone is the epitome of authority and control. The embodiment of all that we stand against. Many may have fought to stand against you before but every empire in world history has fallen. Mr Creed, Anisa Knight, the name and faces don't matter. It's just the same song and dance every time.

Ishmael: Whether it be the corners of the Earth or the squared circle, we are serving notice to the tag team division that Pariah is here in UHW, and we stand for everyone who has been outcast and rejected.

Lazarus: The sickness of your pride and ego will be the beginning of your own demise. The cracks are forming in your foundation and on Blood Zone, the new hierarchy of the tag team division will be formed and it will be Pariah on top, and then just everyone else.

Ishmael stokes the fire and tosses in more wood and scraps. Both men take their places amidst the throng of dark figures as the camera pans skyward following the sparks escaping among the spirals of smoke.

* Camera fades to a boxing gym. they both drip of sweat. we also see two people who are also sweating, and heading to the showers. we hear one of the two men say, " Damn that australian chick is tough, those submission moves..not allowing us to tap. i'm just glad the big guy decided to not come in. dude is scary." they both nod to each other, as they walk inside the showers. Creed notices them and calls them over. as they make their way , they both leave the ring and sit on a nearby bench.*

Creed: Anytime you're ready.

* The camera man nods and gives him a nod.*

Now since Anisa or myself have yet to hear from this tag team that we are taking on, They call themselves Pariah,. It was an interesting name so I looked it up. And it has two meanings behind the name. The first meaning,. "An Outcast. And, any person or animal that is generally despised or avoided".. i had to go to our actual site and look this tag team up. 


Let's see, I made some notes. Let's see, Individually their names are Ishmael and Lazarus. interesting names with a combined weight of: 470 pounds. Ishmael here is 5 foot 10 inches tall" and weighs 185 pounds; and Lazarus who is much taller and heavier. not that i am one to talk about weight. however being 7 foot 2, my height is real good. anyway. he's 6 foot 4 and weighs 285 lbs and as much as I don't like to assume here, I don't believe that either of these two are female. I don't know any 6 foot 4 inches tall women with a weight of 285 pound women. There are 5 foot 10 inch tall women that do exist, though typically a woman's height is on average 5 foot 7 inches.and at 185 pounds..perhaps..perhaps if this person was an athlete of some sport. maybe.

BUT even with this on their side, the tag team known as Pariah do not know much about the tag team that they are facing, BUT they DO know one thing. one of them is a woman, and if they were according to uhw archives here at one time an undefeated tag team.

The camera man then speaks up.

Camera Man: Uh, Mr.Creed.

Creed: Why are you talking? We talk. you record.

Camera Man: Thing is, Pariah has already cut their promo
Creed: Really, now? However you waited until now? Set it up and let's see what they had to say as they sit on a bench to watch their promo.

Creed: Ewww they look scary

Anisa smirks as they watch. They are both silent until it is over. Creed shakes his head.

Creed: I guess they are really wanting to push the whole Outcast , we have had to every little scrap...wahh poor oh poor us..Oh please, cry me a fuckin' river, ok. This is America, Lazars, Ishmael, the land of opportunity. The land to make something of yourselves in.the both of us made it here. What have you made of yourselves? Outcasts? Is THIS truly the way you wish people to see you? Only a small portion of what the two of you have has any merit.

Anisa: Every Empire has at a point in time come and gone. The Romans, French, British and so on. HOWEVER Empires are remembered, while simple Outcasts are not. You look at us and think of not just as simple fat cats, but you believe that you see Prey. We are not prey. You talk about destroying The Empire, However you said that the two of you will be the new hierarchy. My, my what a prideful thing to say.

Creed: Indeed. You say that the sickness of your pride and ego will be the beginning of your own demise. You speak of not just us, but of The Empire itself. THAT in itself is a very prideful thing to say, and I am The Pride Killer. I will due what I must in order for the two of you to be forced to swallow that pride.And while i do not pretend to know the future, however If i were you,there is a likelihood of what may come. That being, 

l would go after Anisa should she be tagged in. After all, she is the shortest and weighs the least. They will seek to isolate her and beat her down to keep the much bigger, much stronger tag partner from getting his opportunity at either of you. It is what I would do. I mean they areee an undefeated tag team. however I know that with being the offspring of one stalker knight i know she's as tough as nails. I will give you a warning and that is to never assume. even though anisa is a woman, don't assume that she will roll over and die. Now to point out the elephant in the room..you two have to account for the man who is taller and for damn sure was not invited to become a member of the empire simply due to his height. you'll do what you can to keep me down. work on my legs with a couple of chop blocks maybe. i have taken that into account, let's just say THIS big man doesn't skip leg day. .

Anisa here is a trifecta hybrid if you ask me. She's got High Flyer in 'er along with technical and Submission.The both of you may be taller and weigh more, however, everyone has a different threshold of pain. your looks may make you look scary to some. however there is no fear here. What do we have to fear of you? It is an honest question. With myself, well you might think what you see is what you get, but don't make a rookie mistake in thinking i am one dimensional guy. that goes for our opponents and our viewers.


Anisa: Thank you for your kind words, uncle.

Creed: With your own words, even if we, the empire, should go down, a new one would be built. So how are you so different from us? Because "you deserve it more" ?  I would say that you eat well, lazars. You cannot become 285 pound on very little table scraps that you have had to struggle so harshly against. please. I look forward to beating both of you down.

The camera fades from black onto Ishmael sitting under a bridge, the sound of rushing water below and the occasional car crossing above.

Ishmael: I must admit, I had lost hope that we would be hearing from you all this weekend. Needless to say, it seems as though you have mostly been reaching for low hanging fruit as well as setting up nothing but excuses if the match doesn't turn out in your favor. To be candid, if either of you has issue with the fact that neither of us are of the female persuasion, please discuss your qualms with management seeing as they felt the need to book this match. I've noticed other female wrestlers here handling their business against the men here so this contest should come as no surprise. I myself am interested in seeing how Anisa and I matchup with our high-flying and technical prowess, and just how far she is willing to push the bar.

Lazarus speaks up and steps from the shadows as the camera pans over.

Lazarus: Creed, I'm rather disappointed that you would steep to the level of what amounts to simple kindergarten antics when you spat comments about one's weight and potential eating habits. No matter, it's never slowed me down nor prevented me from succeeding regardless of who was thrown against us. I've dropped guys your size on their heads enough times that no amount of leg day is going to keep your knees stable beneath you.

Ishmael: One thing can be said about the great empires of the past being remembered is that they're also always remembered for their downfalls and their signs of weakness. The biggest mistakes always made are spreading too far and growing too large. You lose control easier and smaller factions can branch off and seek too overthrow the other. Oh I'm sure that would never happen to The Empire, right? But, what if losses begin to accumulate and it begins to look weak?

Lazarus: Make mistake, this is not a David and Goliath story, and we're not walking in focussed on what comes next. We have minds and bodies prepared for this fight. There will be pain and agony on both sides I'm sure. We, however, welcome it. It's what has molded us into what we are. You look forward into beating us down? We look forward to smiling in your face as you try, and dishing out our brand of The Cure.

Ishmael: You see, Creed, in this land of opportunity, we have proven time and time again that we are not to be taken for granted and overlooked. You see no merit in what we bring. That's the biggest fallacy any empire can make over a lowly outcast.

Both men turn and walk away as the camera fades to black.

* Screen comes from black as we see Mr.Creed sitting down in a chair wearing a pair of black pants, white socks and a very well kept Old Dale Earnhardt T-Shirt. a pair of boots. as the camera pans out we see the  location looks more like a garage. and sure enough there is a harley Davidson motorcycle with two helmets . one on the seat and the other is sat atop it's side mirrors.Creed then calls out " hurry, it up. your dad's expecting you. I know you have other friends you could be hanging out with" a female voice then replies back, "True, But one's at work and the others with her girlfriend. Besides, like you said we need to reply to Pariah as a tag team." and sure enough Creed's tag - team partner Anisa Knight walks into the shot wearing pants of her own and a green tank top.sporting a pair of old school chuck taylor's. She brings a chair with her and unfolds it as she sits next to him. Creed points upwards to the camera man and shoots a grin.*

Anisa: Oh the camera men are finally here. Finally,You were right. They look down on us despite the fact that we have never faced them and they have never faced us. let alone seen either of us in a uhw ring, you knew what they would say. not word for word but what they would say overall.

Creed: It never crossed their minds that what i said was to just lure them in by playing to what they were pitching, not just us, not just the viewers but the entire locker room as well. The Fact that THEY..believed that i had a problem with one of the two of them not being a woman because my tag team partner is a woman, really? Oh sure, they said to complain to management if I had a problem with it. Did they not get what I said when we didn't know what they looked like? If that is what they took from it then that's on them.

* Creed then grabs his boots and slips on the left one as anisa speaks*

Anisa: And then the people remember empires but not outcasts. play to their insecurities. they can talk themselves up all they want. They want to show themselves off as outsiders,outcasts. so maybe people will remember them. trying to put themselves out there as THEM being the one's to topple an empire, look at us..we will do what others have failed to do.

Creed: You know, some "outsiders" in our business actually grew to face BECAUSE of who they were taking on. For example, o'l Stone Cold Steve Austin. why? because he was living out every working person..while maybe not a dream but they wanted to live thru him due to him being able to beat the hell out of his boss and get away with it.

Anisa: DX..they were taking on the system. the outsiders who became the nWo due to them being the bad guys..the outlaws..they are just trying to do the same thing. They may not be fearful of us. but they are fearful of losing to us, the empire, the system.They want to beat us to jump start their careers and show uhw's new fan base just who they were and why you should cheer for them. I highly doubt that they will openly say it. but i believe they want us to be goliath, and it's not that they want to be david, they need to be david to keep this whole outcast bit going.

Creed: Ishmael did it ever occur to you and lazarus that maybe, just maybe we wanted to see what the returning tag team that was the shit, if you believe the hype, back in the day that has decided after a 10 year absence to come back, Granted our re opening has not been that long..* short sigh* you didn't think that we wanted to hear what you had to say. and then to say that you had almost given up on us speaking..well if you don't mind, let me ask that of you two. What took you guys so long to say something. ?

* He then starts putting on his right boot as he continues to speak. *

Lazarus, if i were some sort of newb i would have mentioned maybe their rusty or they should have stayed away. but i didn't. I know better. it's just two bad that you and Ishmael aka pariah , decided not to see that far. you said you have dropped big guys supposed to impress me, make me feel nervous, put me in my place or something?..i never said you didn't or hadn't. I simply, somewhat expect you, your partner or if you decide to double team me would go for the knees. so i just called it out. I have come to expect the worst out of people, However if you believe that the two of you can do something to me without some sort of underhanded schemes, then by all means, prove me wrong.

You could also do quick tags in and out each time utilizing the refs five count and try to wear me down.. See i have been there and done that and had it done to me. Let us see if you can get the drop on. Now we can verbally spar with each other and that's all well and good. but it's not your mouth that wins you matches. It's making the other person tap out , it's the referee slapping his or her hand down on the canvas three times and you being on top of your opponent pinning them that wins you matches. C'mon on now. you should know this.

Anisa: Ishmael, it's good to hear you are a high flyer. now i could match your high flying or maybe i will clip your wings and take you down to the ground. Now being that this will be our first match against each other and neither team has seen the other in action, the suspense and anticipation will be high. You and Lazarus believe that you know us, already looking down at us. it may just serve as your downfall.

Lazarus: I have already talked about you earlier. but i will end it with, neither one of you actually answered uncle creed's question.Even if we, the empire, should go down, a new one would be built. So how are you so different from us? An empire is a heiracey isn't it? You said the new heiracey being you will go up and then there is everybody else..

So the answer should be along the lines of only difference is that you would then be the new heiracey and according to you, you believe that you have been passed over, forced aside and just complaining in general. if you complain about being passed over then perhaps you were not seen by them as not being good enough. Ever think of that? You and the one's with something to prove but now we have something to prove and that would be to prove that every place who "passed over" Pariah was right in doing so the whole time.

Ishmael: I suppose there isn't much more to be said seeing how you just have us so figured out, right? Then again they say it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt. Clearly, it's advice you have never taken. Silence will never disappoint you, and after this match, it may be a lesson for you to remember. You believe you've played us right into your hand when all you've done is lay all your cards on the table. Our intentions have been made clear and our reputation and accolades have preceded our arrival. It's your choice to overlook us at your own detriment.

Lazarus: To the victor will go the spoils. And the loser, the bitter pill of defeat. One step closer to a shot at the tag team championship or simply being knocked to the back of the line.

Ishmael: It matters not who we play in this story nor if we're seen as the face or the heel. All that matters is another symbol of greed and power be crushed. This isn't about us replacing another empire. You see, we represent all who have been used, walked on, and abused. All who have been neglected. Pariah isn't just Ishmael and Lazarus, but WE are PARIAH.
