The scene opens with Pariah sitting around a campfire enjoying a cold alcoholic beverage. Lazarus is pondering the upcoming Blood Zone.

Lazarus: Another year has come to a close and Pariah is still standing strong. There was the unfortunate match I just had with our champion in which I stood toe to toe with him yet failed to come out on top. That will not be the case this time at Blood Zone. The very first Blood Zone of 2024 and it's going to kick off with a bang. Such a stacked card with everyone looking to make a mark and fulfill their New Years resolution of a successful beginning to 2024 here in UHW. I for one am resolved to continue taking down members of The Empire and that continues with another match with Mr. Creed. This time it will be just the two of us, and there will be no room for excuses when yet again my arm is raised in victory.

The camera zooms closer to Lazarus as he changes to a more serious tone and directs his comments towards Mr. Creed.

Lazarus: Last time Creed, you let your arrogance get in the way when you thought for one second that you had the upper hand and allowed Anisa to step into the ring and face her demise. Was winning more important to you than shoving the ref out of the way and aiding your teammate? Your choices alone led to what seems to be the end of Anisa's UHW career. We did exactly what we said we were going to do and that was to start dismantling The Empire piece by piece. It just so happened to be that you served her up on a silver platter as the sacrificial lamb. Then, you did nothing to help her as she took boot after boot, stomp after stomp. I'm actually surprised that Brian has even continued to allow you to be a part of The Empire. I mean, first you fail in saving Anisa, and then you attack her father? Don't get me started on Stalker. He didn't even publicly accost you for allowing Anisa to take her beating. Is there no personal accountability within The Empire for those types of failures? Or are we the ones everyone wants to hold accountable?

The camera zooms in closer, Lazarus showing no signs of regret or guilt.

Lazarus: I suppose we're expected to feel remorse for going as far as we did and this match is your chance at retribution. Well, don't think for one second that this is going to be a cake walk big guy. I went toe to toe with Brian, and in our last match you and I went blow for blow. This time, however, there is no tagging out. When exhaustion sets in after being suplexed over and over, you'll wish someone was there to save you. Now, I'm sure you will do your best to refute all that I have said and I would expect nothing less. The truth, however, remains. Being that you're part of The Empire's B-team at best, your A-game wasn't enough before and won't be enough this time. Whether it's dropping you on the back of your head and neck with multiple suplexes or chopping you down at your legs, you're going to find yourself dazed on your back staring at the lights while the ref counts to 3.

The camera fades to black as Pariah continues enjoying their drinks, laughing amongst each other.

* Scene opens to a single spot light with an empty chair inside of the middle or a ring. We see a hand grab that chair and pick it up. It's then put down and is sat on by The Empires Pride Killer, Mr.Creed. we see him use a single finger to call the camera person to come closer as the camera gets a better shot of him wearing a leather jack along with a empire t-shirts jeans, and cowboy boots. he takes a breath and then speaks*

Now I in general try and keep my promos short or shorter than everyone else due to the attention span of most people.However, due to my upcoming match and what it is about,. I do have just a little more than I typically would.

* he puts his hands together and rubs them together.*

Oh hopefully our uhw hardcore fans if they are willing to indulge me. I heard from a worker here that this place was formerly known as The Pepsi Center. Right here in Denver,Colorado  And my opponent for my bloodzone match here in Denver, this being my first one on one match here in uhw, is against the same person i had my first match against. though it wasn't in a one on one match against. For our non loyal fan base that person's name is Lazarus.. who will formerly be known as my first singles opponent.who is also the first person i faced in a match all be it a tag team one.

He is also the person who chose to disrespect my name. Hopefully he will learn to say my name only when we face each other in whatever sort of match that would include both of us as participants in. How'd he disrespect my name? well it all circles back to my first match with my now former tag team partner.

he sighs

The author George Bernard Shaw once said, " Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance." which i believe is what you possess about what happened to anisa knight. The false knowledge that the members of the empire, specifically myself and stalker knight were so lacking in the training of his daughter and my brief tag team partner not only that but it was so bad that when she was injured it was so injured that she cannot wrestle anymore.

* short pause*  it goes even further than that. When you said what you said about it you in your own way believed that she somehow lacked the knowledge of how to handle herself against people taller and stronger than herself.. And yet you give off,,in my view a,,liking to injuring her. like you were proud or prideful of it..and that you hurt her so bad that the referee called off the match and we ended up in a tie. If you were so sure of you win then why didn't you allow anisa to tag out and continue the match?

And here i thought that you were a professional..which IS..THE reason i didn't go after you in the first place. the same for stalker..which by the way  After you did what you did you didn't do anything else after the match was stopped and while I was not happy with my partner being injured, I thought to myself, well at least he was professional about it and then I believed that Anisa would bounce back.and we know how that ended.

I do want you to know this,in this match.i am not coming into this match seeking revenge, vengeance or to avenge her. She knew there are dangers to everyone who steps inside the ring. hell look at steve austin, adam copeland and others who have entered our ring, been injured and come back.. As i said i am not coming into this match on her behalf. I am coming to it on my own name and the vile you spoke of it. the same name that I have had in other companies' halls of "xtreme,extreme..yadda yadda" since '02. Did you really, i mean really in the heart of hearts believe that you had gotten away with injuring not just my partner but a member of the empire, do you think we would let it slide for as long as it did. i mean the tag alone was a tie and here you believed you won that match when you didn't. and then you started to believe your own hype until....

you lost the triple threat match for the bloodzone title at a pay per view match and couldn't pull it off of two people who're barely at and over 6 foot tall..that's right. against Dario, then you lost against Brian Kennedy and now you are going to lose to me. who you claim as a B- Team? If I am in that team then wouldn't Our uhw blooodzone champion Dario Arturo Cortez be there..but that would mean that you have already lost against a b team. ha ha ha.   wow. not much originality there huh?

* Pause* Then again you saw what happens when I punch a person in the mouth. as big as you are, you will go down whether you know it is coming or not.

Now we both did tussle for a bit in the short lived tag-team match, which i am glad there are people close to my height that I can play with. * he smirks* Now if you really want a real win against me, The Pride Killer, Mr. Creed..then you leave your tag team partner or anyone else who you associate with out of our match and i will do the same. but did you really believe that just you and your tag team partner are going to take the empire apart?  talk about prideful, whose one of its definitions means,

"Being overly convinced of one's own worth or dignity:..pfff as if you actually know what dignity is..  But being prideful is something you are all too familiar with.  You see to have it in spades, and then you will hopefully see what happens when one as full of pridefulness as you are goes against The Pride Killer. and I will enjoy taking it from you.

* he starts to  go to leave but turns around, showing his back to the background *

IF the empire were to fall it would not be by you and your tag team partners hands alone or otherwise. you couldn't lead a group of boy scouts. See you at bloodzone.

* he then leaves the ring as people leaving behind and fade to black.*

The scene opens to Lazarus sitting alone in the locker room of the Ball Arena. He seems to be deep in contemplation as the camera comes closer. Lazarus looks up as he strokes his beard and begins to speak.

Lazarus: For someone who usually would keep his promos short and concise, I must admit, I have never heard a man say so much yet honestly add so little to the conversation. You exhaustingly set the stage for our match from the Ball Arena and ensured to note in depth that this is your first singles match against myself. I'm honestly confused over one thing though. You claimed you're not going into this match with revenge on your mind for Anisa but for the disrespect on your own name, but later you talked about how you weren't going to let what happened to Anisa slide. Sounds to me like, in your own words, there's still some level of revenge being sought after. Maybe you just lost yourself in the circles you're talking in, or the other misinformation you're sharing.

Lazarus stands and begins pacing the room. He comes to a stop in front of mirror, looking into the camera from its reflection. He continues.

Lazarus: I actually loved your quote about false knowledge and ignorance because you were spreading quite a bit of your own. Let's reflect on a few of your misleading comments. You claimed that Anisa's lack of training wasn't what caused her demise, yet that was a big focus during her promos that she was extremely well trained to be facing us. She definitely should have been more prepared going into that match. The one thing you got so very wrong on a couple different occasions was the result of our tag team match. That match didn't end in a tie or a draw as you continue to claim. I believe the results stated at Blood Zone 7 was "Winner due to injury, Pariah." You see, that's what the goal is, victory. Not to allow the weakened opponent to tag in the fresh teammate so the match can continue. We did exactly what we said we would do and exactly what you yourself said would be your game plan if it were you. So, why then should we feel ashamed for what we did? You also claim we did nothing else after the match. If memory serves me correctly, we were putting the boots to you while the ref checked on Anisa and until other members of The Empire rushed to make the save. Maybe all that just happened to slip your mind. However, I do suppose that is enough fact checking...for the moment at least.

Lazarus continues pacing the floor of the locker room. He chuckles to himself before continuing.

Lazarus: I'm not sure how well Brian or Dario will take to you referring to them as B-team level competition within The Empire. They both for one are holding championship gold here in UHW. AND they don't need to rely on a 7 foot 2 inch frame to accomplish it either. It's almost like you're telling Brian that if you had the chance, you'd take one or more of those titles from him. Easy there, sport. I don't think that's going to go over too well with either of them, especially after the debacle with Anisa. It might be wise to keep those comments to a minimum.

Lazarus returns to his seat at his locker before finishing.

Lazarus: Now, we've set things straight on how our match transpired. That match also being my first match back here. And I don't forget you had a tag win with Dario at the following show. On that same show, I was involved in a five person free-for-all in which I was victorious. That match sent me into the triple threat match with Dario and Tyler Cross. And yes after constant double-teaming, I did lose that match. Of course, they did what they had to do to try and neutralize the threat I posed. Then I did also lose to Brian, respectfully, in a fair one on one match. Make no mistake, you are far from the level that he is on, yet I survived the brutality of that match, and here I am focused on yet another member of The Empire. Worry not, though, Ishmael will be preparing for his own match and will have no reason to interfere in mine. We'll just see if The Empire can be as forthcoming in their willingness to refrain from intervening on your behalf as well. As i will be prepared for our biggest battle yet in UHW so should you because it's going to take more than one lucky punch to take me out. I'll have an arsenal of suplexes ready for you to wear you down for the win.

Let's hope the next set of statements you decide to make are more accurate than your most recent. I too like to keep my promos short and to the point, but when you fill yours with fluff, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies, I must refute them.

Lazarus motions the camera away as it zooms out and fades to black.

* Scene opens with Mr.Creed inside a uhw tv trailed where matches are recorded. he gets a nod from a camera man.*


Creed: You know, your just like everyone else i have heard. You try and make your promo stand out by picking and choosing what the others said in order to try and make your boring promo some what not so boring.  And since you went out of your way to let me try and have it..Well here you go L. Let's see bloodzone 7 and don't worry i have it fast forwarded and it didn't matter but here in our tag match this is what mattered.

* Ishmael stalks Anisa for a few moments as she is slow to get to her feet. She is ok her hands and knees. As she does Ishmael comes in giving Anisa a hard Stomp knocking Anisa out. The ref checks on Anisa as Lazarus and Ishmael double team Creed before calling for the bell.

Dustin Kirk: I think Pariah just sent the rest of The Empire a message.

Jamie Roth: She is hurt. We need the medics out here.

*the match pauses*

Now let's see if you and Ishmael do anything else.

*Stalker, Dario, Brian, and Tyler all rush to the ring as Pariah makes their way through the crowd as their music plays taunting The Empire as they do.*.

Nope. doesn't look like it. So as i said after the match was called neither you or your partner did any further damage to anisa. And of course you flead, though cowardly it was the right thing to do least the two of you take a beating.

Winner due to Injury: Pariah*

Creed" You and your tag team partner should have been disqualified as the both of you were double teaming me. we all saw that the referee saw me being double teamed BEFORE (not yelling) he called for the bell. DESPITE (not yelling)  anisa being the legal person, Ismael didn't try and pin nor tap her out. The referee should have either awarded the match to anisa and myself or thrown out the match.

Now, why did i say our match was a tie? because it is what i was told. and that's the truth about that.  i didn't hear otherwise due to the double teaming that i received from the two of you..But did i complain about it to the refs? no. did i complain to management? about the refs or the two of you? no.

so you lost a close title match. no one cares. and yet you keep bringing it up.

Creed: i meant to also add member in that sentence  but oh well. i never said anything disparaging about Brian. What a sad attempt at trying to get Brian upset with myself. AND he knows how good i am, otherwise he would not have asked if i wanted to join the empire. i was also a tag team partner with him. he pieced me. and we never lost the tag team titles that we held.

You didn't have to give me any extra motivation to whip your ass. but now that motivation was doubled. * Creed smiles as we fade to black.*
